Why do we love ROUCI?
I like how we all have a lot of activities to participate in, like the lab skills and social events. I've never heard of a club doing lab skills demos, and I really like how useful and fun the information is!
I like how it's very collaborative, and everyone is open to helping you out with whatever you need.
It has a lot of helpful information about research that I didn't know before, and offers a lot of different opportunities!

Become a Mentee or Mentor!
Mentors for Academic and Research Success (MARS) is an initiative to provide peer mentorship and guidance to undergraduate students with their academic and research related endeavors. Apply to become a mentor or mentee!
Our Mission.
We are a 100% student-led, peer-support organization focused on assisting undergraduate students in connecting with research opportunities on campus. The organization focuses on bio-based research opportunities, but it can benefit students of all majors through assisting with resume building and networking opportunities. The primary goal of the organization is to introduce students to a wide variety of research labs on campus and guide them in their pursuit of joining a research team. Students that are new to a research program will have the opportunity to learn how to navigate it through peer-mentoring. Coordinators will assist these students in how to prepare for presentations, how to network, and a variety of other skills that are essential in becoming a successful undergraduate researcher.
