Resume/CV Workshop
Students will hear from our officers and their firsthand experiences with drafting resumes, and have a chance to look at resume examples from our officers.

Xu Lab Tour
ROUCI is delighted to once again present an opportunity to explore an available research lab. Members will get a chance to talk to Dr.Xu and his team and discuss their research into neural circuit mechanisms and mouse models.

Students will get the chance to interact with a research panelists(grad students, med students, undergrads, etc) and ask them questions about post undergrad life and career as well as questions about research in general.

Lab Skills Workshop
Life in a wet-lab requires certain skills and techniques students don't often encounter until necessary. ROUCI presents students with the unique opportunity to gain experience with pipettes and microscopes.

Symp-RO-sium
Coming Soon...
The Symp-RO-Sium will give students a chance to practice their presentation and poster creating skills in a mock research symposium. This allows students to receive feedback on their presentations from officers & faculty in a low stakes environment

Student will get a chance to meet 2-3 PI's from varying disciplines and ask them questions about their research and what they look for in an undergraduate student.

Course Advice
Every Quarter ROUCI holds a course advice workshop for members giving them information and recommendations for Bio & Chem classes as well as an overview of each professor teaching the course for the following quarter.
